I was sitting at the table eating with my daughters at Thankful Thursday. My 10-year-old comes over to the table where my nine-year-old was sitting and whisper to her, "come here let me talk to you". My 10-year-old then reply, "what now"? I'll looked at them both and asked "what's going on"? They both stated, "nothing mama" and walked away.
I am so glad that my daughters have that same close relationship that my sisters and I share. But where do they get off thinking they can have secrets and when I asked them what's going on they can't tell me. I'm going to get to the bottom of this because they are not grown.

My co-worker and friend encouraged me to arrive to work an hour before my normal shift. She said if I got there early then I could leave early. We both have a big family so she was trying to help me accomplish more in the day. Needless to say I didn't listen and kept my normal routine going. I decided to try it today and she was right. I was able to come home and take a one hour power nap. I got up and cooked, made sure the girls did their homework, cleaned the kitchen and did laundry. I do all this anyway but I finished earlier than normal and now I'm about to get a good nights sleep. It's been a while since I gotten to bed this early. My friend can get on my nerves at times. However there is no denying she has my best interest at heart. Thanks LaToya!

​There is no doubt in my mind that I am growing in God. God is so amazing! He allowed me to experience so many different obstacles to prepare me for a time such as this.  I can honestly say that things that used to floor me, now have no effect. It feels so good to be able to say, “Nope devil, not today.” 

I had to put on the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness. It works every time.

I have the best mother in the world. I know, I know, everyone thinks that about their mother. But when God gave me my mother he blessed me with a special gift. I can always count on my mother for anything. She's the sweetest person I know. I don't mind looking like her and I strive to be like her. Thank you God for my "Special Gift".
