Don't go off of feelings
My mom, Patsy Ruth once told me,"you can never go by feelings when it comes to being totally committed to God". There are times when we just don't feel like being kind. There are times when we don't feel like being the bigger person. There are times when we don't feel like turning the other cheek. We will always have those moments when we don't feel like doing what we ought to do as Christians. However, we cannot go off of how we feel. We must know that we are peculiar, set apart and downright different. We must realize that we are strong when we are able to exercise self-control, restraint, responsibility and unwavering commitment to God. God will always cause us to to prevail in difficult situations when we put our relationship with Him above anything else.
No matter the problems Jesus can solve them. He is the Resolution.
In the corporate world we tend to believe that the higher the position, then it requires less physical or manual labor. In most instances this is true. However, the success or failure of the company or organization falls on the shoulders of upper management. If production decelerates and sales decline then the responsible parties are dealt with. The labor class will feel the latter affects but management will get the brunt of the corrective action. This sometimes leads to demotion and even termination.
To whom much is given much is required. Whenever we are placed in prestigious positions we must operate in integrity. Do not take avenge of your title or the workers that are entrusted to you. Remember promotion comes from The Lord. If in fact we operate outside of our gifts and talents for self gratification we will most definitely fall. The higher you go the longer the fall if not careful.
Like it or not change is coming.
There is a known fact that time brings about a change. Whether we like it or not change must take place in our lives. We age, we mature, gain knowledge, gain experience and make reputations for ourselves. We were born to die and the most important thing about our expected end is what do we do in the meantime. How we live our lives will determine our fate. We can not continune to keep making the same mistakes and expect our lives to change for the better. Everything and everyone is changing everyday and like it or not change is headed your way.
Healing takes time
In most cases emotional wounds takes more time to heal than physical ones. It can take months and even years to heal after losing someone you love. Never allow people to tell when the healing should start and end. No one will ever truly comprehend the love that you carry for your loved one. Surround yourself with people that loves you so that you can continue to extend the gift of love.
I think he loves me......
❤️I held my new nephew at church last night and he did not take his eyes off me. I was melting...... I just love him and I think he loves me.❤️
Even when I fall short I am making progress. How? When I fall short of His glory I try very hard not to repeat the same mistake. I ask for forgiveness and strength to continue to stay on the straight and narrow. In doing so I obtain self-control and learn to have more confidence in God.
It gets hard at times but I have purposed in my heart to stay in the race. Sometimes diving forward helps you finish first in a race. Remember the race is not given to the swift nor battle to the strong but to he that endures until the end. If you fall, fall foward get up and keep on moving toward the mark of the high calling in Christ Jesus.
Do you trust the devil?
Do you trust the devil with your heart, your soul, your husband, your children, your career, your goals, or your dreams? Think about it, what have we given to the enemy or better yet what have we allowed him to take. The Bible said that we should watch and pray. Saints of God I encourage you to trust God and not the enemy. Anything you have entrusted to the devil is Eminty to God. If you allow your children to listen to devilish music and watch devilish programs, have them around drinking, smoking, cussing, fussing and fighting, you might was well image the devil sitting down right next to them with his arms wrapped around them. You are literally fattening them up with corruption for destruction and he is waiting patiently to make his move.
Never trust the enemy with God's precious gift, your children. And NEVER trust the enemy with God's greatest gift to you, your soul.
